Frequently Asked Questions
Registration
Is Crush a good league for beginners?
Crush is perfect for beginners of all ages. Our focus is on skill-building, confidence, sportsmanship, and fun in a positive, inclusive environment.
What division do I choose at registration?
Crush currently offers several divisions for kids ages 4–18. Choose the division based on your child’s age as of July 1, 2026. Exceptions may be made with administrative approval.
Please keep in mind, however, that we prioritize inclusion and team balance. In some seasons, depending on registration numbers, we combine age groups to ensure every child gets to play and no team is left short. In doing this, we have seen younger players gain confidence from learning alongside older teammates, and older players develop leadership and sportsmanship skills.
What do registration fees cover?
Fees include team equipment, insurance, field rental, and uniforms.
How many seasons are offered per year?
Currently there are four seasons:
Winter (Jan-March)
Spring (April-June)
Summer (June, indoors)
Fall (September-November)
Do you accept ESA/Class Wallet?
Crush is an approved ESA vendor. You can use the vendor pay option through Class Wallet or submit a receipt for reimbursement. There are no refunds when using ESA funds. However, future season credit will be given. For more information visit the ESA tab on the website.
Do you offer discounts?
Head coaches receive free registration for one child. We also offer a $5 sibling discount.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
We believe a child’s ability to play should never depend on their ability to pay. Therefore, a limited number of youth scholarships are available for qualifying families. For more information visit the Scholarship page on the website.
What if I register but later change my mind?
We understand things come up. You may request a refund, minus any administrative fees, prior to the season’s start.
Are there any boundary stipulations?
Crush Kickball has no boundary restrictions—players are welcome from anywhere! Our primary focus is the East Valley with plans to expand across the Valley and eventually statewide.
Can I request a specific coach/friend?
There’s a section during registration to make requests. While not guaranteed, we do our best to honor them.
Is Crush Kickball a club organization?
Crush Kickball is a recreational league for youth (ages 4–18). While the focus is on fun and development, we are exploring options for more competitive inter-league play as we expand the program.

Can I volunteer or assist with the team?
Absolutely! We welcome volunteers as head and assistant coaches, team parents, field crew, scorekeepers, umpires, as well as other areas such as (marketing, uniform crew, photography). All volunteers must pass a background check. Visit the Volunteer page on our website to learn more.
